Inspired by Japan
Miso baked eggplant salad with shimeji mushroom, quail eggs, sprouts and pork & prawn spicy teriyaki meatballs, topping with wasabi cream and toboki.
After a few clips I realized my food and Onra’s tracks are perfect match. Period.
What brought me the idea to cook with eggplant this week was the fact that Mr.Fluffy was not a big fan of this vegetable, so I took that as a challenge to myself, to change it. And it worked 😉 he said it was really special so I can die happily now haha!
It was absolutely inspired by Japanese cuisines since we watched Anthony Bourdain – Tokyo episode and it drove me crazy with the wish to come back there asap. Our last 10 days trip to Japan didn’t even make a scratch on the surface… Anyway, till next time we make it there, I could just keep cooking with Japanese inspiration to satisfy that urge right?
Still looked and tasted beautiful for left-over breakfast the next morning 😉
