Steak, Guinness (yes that heavily delicious beer) and cheese pie with puff pastry lid; served with crème fraiche mashed potatoes and asparagus – it was end of a stressful work day, “pie” was the first thing came up my mind when wondering what I could cook (to release some pressure) to welcome the little bear back home after an intense business trip – comfort food he missed from home! Super spontaneous, pie dish was a little too deep, also I could had had rolled the pastry a little thinner but, I can be very proud of this very first pie ( *`艸´) Also felt so chillax while cooking, happiness is just within my spoon and chopsticks reach (●´ー`●)
